Tour Itinery
Day 1 – Chandigarh – Shimla
Get ready to be departed from Chandigarh by evening. Reach Shimla next morning by an overnight Volvo (meals include: dinner).
Day 2 – Shimla To Chitkul / Sangla
We will reach Shimla in morning around 8:30 am. The Spiti expedition journey starts from here. Long drive through the scenic beauty of Kinnaur via Narkanda and Rampur. Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham. Arrive Chitkul/Sangla in the evening and enjoy at the stay for night (meals include: breakfast & dinner).
Day 3 – Chitkul to Kalpa
After breakfast, spend some time at leisure and check out. Chitkul is the last Indian village towards China border. Explore the best of it. Next, you will be departing for Kalpa. Reach Kalpa by evening, check-in to your stay and have dinner (meals include: breakfast & dinner).
Day 4 – Kalpa to Nako / Tabo
After breakfast, spend some time at leisure and check out. Wake up to the Kinner Kailash view. Visit the popular Suicide Point. Passing by Spiti River, enjoy 360-degree view of the mesmerizing mountains. Reach Nako/Tabo by evening, check-in to your stay and have local Spiti cuisine (meals include: breakfast & dinner).
Day 5 – Nako / Tabo to Kaza
After breakfast, spend some time at leisure and check out. Head towards Tabo and spend some peaceful time at the beautiful Tabo old and new monastery and know different stories by the monks. After exploring Tabo, head towards the oldest monastery of the valley i.e. Dhankar Monastery. Time to head toward the beautiful administrative town of Spiti Valley, Kaza (meals include: breakfast & dinner).
Day 6 – Langza | Hikkim | Komic | Key Monastery
After breakfast, spend some time at leisure. Head towards Langza i.e. a high-altitude village known for ancient marine fossils. Collect some fossils to take memories of nature home. After Langza, head towards Hikkim i.e. at 4,400 m above sea level. It is known for being the home of the highest post office in the world. You can send postcards to friends and family. After Hikkim, visit Komic village i.e. a destination where you would see how heaven meets earth. It is the world’s highest motorable village and situated at a height of 18,000 ft above sea level. Visit the spectacular Tibetan Buddhist Key Monastery located on a picturesque hilltop at an altitude of 4,166 meters above the sea level (meals include: breakfast & dinner).
Day 7 – Kaza | Chicham Bridge | Chandra Taal Lake
After breakfast, head towards Chicham Bridge i.e. the highest bridge in Asia and allows you to have panoramic views. Then reach Chandra Taal by evening via Kunzum La and Losar and have one of the best sunsets ever by the moon lake, followed by an overnight stay (meals include: breakfast).
Day 8 – Manali | Depart for Chandigarh
After breakfast at Chandra Taal stay leave for Manali via Atal Tunnel and get transferred to Chandigarh. Reach Chandigarh by early morning on the following day with amazing memories and new friends.
